My name is Maxwell Losgar and I am the Entertainment Director at Hearst who oversees the editorial bookings for Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, and Women’s Health. I also worked on Marie Claire from March 2019 until the brand was sold in May 2021. (Other Hearst titles I’ve contributed to include Delish, Elle, Men’s Health, Seventeen, and Town & Country.)

With an extensive rolodex of publicists, managers and agents on speed dial in Hollywood, New York, and London, I’ve built a strong reputation for casting and booking a wide range of celebrities, models, and influencers for top-tier print and digital media companies worldwide. I am well versed in spearheading projects ranging from the conceptualization of magazine covers and editorial portfolios to programming summits and curating guest lists for exclusive soirées.

As an Entertainment Director I helm the talent booking strategy for Hearst's editorial and business priorities at Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, and Women's Health by implementing comprehensive coverage of key celebrities whose fandoms overlap with and connect to our existing audiences. I also join forces with our sales, marketing, and events teams to plan and execute talent partnerships. I ensure the best possible bookings for my brands by constantly keeping my finger on the pulse and identifying the next big names in music, tv, film, and the influencer space by critically assessing their audience engagement and overall social impact. I oversee the end-to-end management of any talent features from the content creation and social distribution, to PR strategy and the measurement of the feature's success.

In addition to my current titles, I’ve also worked for (or contributed to) the following media entities: Allure, Apex for Youth, Architectural Digest, Bon Appétit, Departures, Galore, Gay Times, Glamour, GQ, GQ Style, Polyester Zine, Self, The Shorty Awards, Teen Vogue, Out, Publiq, Vanity Fair, Vogue and Wealthsimple.
